My novel RAUSCHLIEBE was published in February 2020. I wrote it in German, and I plan to have an English translation soon.
The story is about the revival of Pavlos and Stella’s old teenage-love, that unforeseen and fueled by the guy’s secret alcohol addiction escalates into a co-dependent relationship full of obsession, blackmail, and domestic violence.
While there are hundreds of books about alcoholism, drug addiction, and rehabilitation, I could not find any novel with a co-dependent narrator and the main issue being the co-dependent love.
My book’s narrator is Stella, Pavlos’wife, waiting for her divorce papers and fighting against her own daemons, abysses, and false beliefs.
